Because the TerraQuant lasers have the new class 1m, they cannot do eye damage but the system can have up to 500mW of equivalent continuous power. This give the TerraQuant lasers much higher power than both class 1 and 2 system but they can be sold for home use without a recommendation and they provide "peak power" levels that compare to high end class 4 lasers continuous output. They do this by always having the laser in a super-pulsing mode. The provides for high peak power while still being extremely safe. What makes TerraQuant systems so unique?
